Kalpataru Projects International has sold its entire 100 percent stake in Vindhyachal Expressway Private Limited to Actis for Rs 775 crore. Vindhyachal Expressway is a special purpose vehicle formed for a four-laning road project connecting Rewa and Hanumana on NH-7, under a concession from Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation. The sale aligns with Kalpataru's strategy to optimize value from non-core assets, following previous divestments of transmission assets, according to the company's CEO Manish Mohnot.
