Deepinder Goyal Named EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2025; Uday Kotak Receives Special Jury Award

Deepinder Goyal, founder of Eternal Ltd and Zomato, was named EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 for his impact on India's consumption patterns and job creation through consumer-tech businesses. The award ceremony in Mumbai recognized winners whose companies collectively generate nearly Rs 4 lakh crore in revenue and employ about 2.8 lakh people. Veteran banker Uday Kotak received a Special Jury Award for his contributions to Indian banking and entrepreneurship. Goyal will represent India at the global EY World Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in Monte Carlo.
