India's fiscal deficit for April-November FY26 reached Rs 9.76 lakh crore, representing 62.3% of annual estimates, an increase from the previous year's 52.5%. Total government receipts were Rs 19 lakh crore, with expenditure at Rs 29.25 lakh crore. Revenue receipts comprised Rs 19.10 lakh crore, including Rs 13.93 lakh crore in tax revenue and Rs 5.16 lakh crore in non-tax revenue.
