
The Delhi government has released Rs 3,386.18 crore to fund the remaining three corridors of the Delhi Metro Phase IV expansion, covering nearly 47.2 km. These projects, costing around Rs 14,630.80 crore, aim to improve connectivity across Delhi and into Haryana, reduce congestion, and support pollution control. Key corridors include extensions from Lajpat Nagar to Saket G-Block, Inderlok to Indraprastha, and Rithala to Kundli. Additionally, Aerocity station is set for a major upgrade to become a multi-line interchange hub integrating the Airport Express, Golden Line, and future NCRTC routes.
