The Delhi-Dehradun Greenfield Expressway, a 210-212 km six-lane corridor costing around Rs 12,000 crore, is nearing completion with an expected opening by January 2025. It will reduce travel time from 6-7 hours to about 2.5 hours, connecting Delhi to Dehradun via Baghpat, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, and Saharanpur. The expressway features Asia's longest 12-km elevated wildlife corridor, multiple underpasses, toll plazas, emergency services, and amenities every 30 km, aiming to enhance safety, convenience, and connectivity.
