The Andhra Pradesh government has approved the acquisition of 418.14 acres of land in Nellore district for the proposed Dagadarthi greenfield airport. A.P. Airports Development Corporation Limited (APADCL) will lease the land on a perpetual basis, with compensation set at ₹13 lakh per acre. The Special Chief Secretary and Joint Collector of Nellore District submitted the proposal, which has now received government clearance for compensation payment.
