Biman Bangladesh Airlines has decided to procure 14 aircraft from Boeing, opting for the US manufacturer over European rival Airbus. The approved order includes eight Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners, two Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, and four Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft. This decision, made at the airline's annual general meeting as part of its fleet expansion and modernization plan, is subject to further price negotiations and meeting other terms. The move aligns with a previous government pledge to purchase aircraft from Boeing to address the trade deficit with the United States.
