Vodafone Idea (Vi) has revised an agreement with its promoter, the Vodafone group, to recover approximately ₹5,836 crore in liabilities stemming from the 2017 merger. The revised terms include ₹2,307 crore in cash payments over 12 months by Vodafone promoters. The remaining amount will be secured by 3,280 million Vi equity shares held by Vodafone group entities for five years, before the original agreement expired.
