India's central government fiscal deficit reached 62.3% of the annual budget target by November, totaling Rs 9.76 lakh crore. This figure is higher than the 52.5% recorded in the same period last year. Total receipts were 55.7% of the budget estimate, while expenditure stood at 57.8%, with the annual deficit projected at 4.4% of GDP.
