India's GST Collections Increase 8.1% to Rs 1.83 Lakh Crore in February 2026

India's Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections rose 8.1% year-on-year to Rs 1.83 lakh crore in February 2026, driven by a 17.2% increase in import revenues. Gross domestic GST revenue grew 5.3% to about Rs 1.36 lakh crore, while total refunds increased 10.2% to Rs 22,595 crore. Net GST revenue stood at Rs 1.61 lakh crore, up 7.9% from the previous year. Maharashtra contributed the highest state-level GST collections, followed by Karnataka and Gujarat.
