Chemco Group has launched a Rs. 125 crore food-grade rPET bottle-to-bottle recycling facility in Sanand, Gujarat, capable of processing over 1 billion post-consumer PET bottles annually for food and beverage packaging. The plant meets global regulatory standards including US FDA and EFSA approvals. Meanwhile, BASF announced its participation in PlastIndia 2026, showcasing sustainable materials and advanced recycling technologies across the plastics lifecycle to promote circularity and innovation in multiple industries.
