Chandigarh's Industries Department has released operational guidelines for its Startup Policy, eight months after its notification. The guidelines aim to establish Chandigarh as a leading innovation hub by detailing procedures for startups and incubators to access benefits. Key requirements include DPIIT recognition, Chandigarh location, annual turnover under Rs 100 crore, and no duplication of benefits from other state schemes. Incubators must be registered entities operating within a 100-km radius of Chandigarh. Applications will be processed through the Start-In-Chandigarh Portal and approved by a Project Monitoring and Implementation Committee.
