Prem Chand planted 800 'Jumbo Red' dragon fruit saplings on 2.5 bighas, earning over Rs 50,000 in the first season. He received technical guidance from the Horticulture Department and sourced saplings from Maharashtra, utilizing a trellis system. The farmer highlights dragon fruit's nutritional value, long shelf life, and marketability as advantages over conventional crops.
