Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) has denied reports that it shut down parts of its 300,000-barrel-per-day refinery due to crude oil shortages amid the US-Israel-Iran conflict. While some media and social media posts claimed operational suspensions linked to disrupted crude shipments from the Persian Gulf, MRPL stated its facilities are functioning normally with adequate crude supplies. The company refuted reports of declaring force majeure or suspending exports, amid broader regional tensions affecting oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz.
