
An Israeli trade delegation is expected to visit India in January 2026 for preliminary discussions on a proposed Free Trade Agreement (FTA). Both nations signed the Terms of Reference in November 2025, aiming to significantly boost bilateral trade and investments. The meeting will focus on structuring the negotiation framework. Bilateral trade for 2024-25 stood at $3.62 billion, with India's exports at $2.14 billion and imports at $1.48 billion.
