The PRAGATI system is reportedly spurring fresh interest in infrastructure investments by addressing chronic time and cost overruns in public projects. According to T.V. Somanathan, PRAGATI facilitates dialogue and real-time monitoring for projects over ₹500 crore, tackling coordination issues between ministries, states, and local governments. The government is also developing land banks for afforestation to streamline project implementation.
