The UT Administration is set to resume the e-auction of shop-cum-office (SCO) sites in Sector 39's new mandi after the Supreme Court dismissed a petition by the Sector 26 Sabzi Mandi Arhtiya Association. The reserve price for the 120-square-yard sites has been increased to Rs 5.40 crore from Rs 3.70 crore. The administration plans to issue a public notice in January for the auction of remaining sites, following the allotment of 12 sites from a previous auction.
