
Gurugram's Rapid Metro is set to upgrade its CCTV cameras and public information system with an HMRTC approval of ₹11.76 crore. This upgrade aims to enhance commuter safety and convenience as ridership has significantly increased, surpassing 12.7 million passengers between April and November 2025. The metro operator is also addressing expired maintenance contracts for its trains. Financial performance has improved, with fare revenue rising by 14.06%.
