A 16-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped inside an abandoned factory in West Bengal's Hooghly district on Thursday evening. Police have arrested two individuals, including the girl's alleged boyfriend, a minor, and Dipankar Adhikari, who is reportedly a local Trinamool Congress youth leader. Charges under the POCSO Act have been filed. Authorities are searching for two more associates of the accused. The Trinamool Congress has denied links to the accused, stating that if found guilty, he should be punished.
