Police in Odisha's Balasore district arrested Ram Chandra Singh (22) and Jemamani Singh (27) for the murder of Akash Mohanta (30). The trio checked into a hotel on December 25, with Mohanta allegedly seeking sexual favors from Jemamani after a drinking session. When Jemamani resisted, a dispute escalated, leading to Ram Chandra and Jemamani allegedly strangulating Mohanta to death. The couple used fake Aadhaar cards for hotel entry, while Mohanta's was genuine. Both accused are married, and Jemamani has two children.
