Chennai police arrested a 25-year-old woman in Delhi for allegedly stealing 69 grams of gold jewelry from a family in Chennai's Seven Wells area. The theft occurred when unidentified individuals cut open a bag carried by a woman, taking the jewelry. CCTV footage identified two women, and tracking a borrowed mobile phone led police to the accused, Akshita Sisodia, from Madhya Pradesh. She confessed to the crime with her mother-in-law and indicated the jewelry was hidden in her native village.
