A 21-year-old man, Yash Chandrakant Chavan, died from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run incident on Mumbai's Eastern Express Highway. Chavan was returning from a birthday party when his motorcycle was struck by an unidentified vehicle on December 27. He was initially taken to Rajawadi Hospital and later transferred to KEM Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on December 29. The Vikhroli police have registered a case against the unknown driver.
