NHRC Seeks Report on Uttam Nagar Killing During Holi Celebrations

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has issued notices to the West Delhi District Magistrate and Delhi Police Commissioner, seeking an action taken report within two weeks regarding the March 4 killing of Tarun in Uttam Nagar during Holi celebrations. The police have arrested 14 adults and two juveniles linked to the incident, which reportedly began after a minor water splash dispute. The NHRC has called for a thorough investigation, protection for the victim's family, and prosecution of those involved, following allegations of a violent attack causing Tarun's death.
