A gangster, Vinay Tyagi, was shot and critically injured in an ambush near the Laksar flyover in Haridwar while being transported to court. Police arrested two individuals, Sunny Yadav and Ajay Sain, who allegedly carried out the attack due to a monetary dispute and prior threats. The incident has led to the suspension of three police officers for negligence. Tyagi, who faces over 60 cases, is in critical condition, while the arrested suspects have a history of dacoity.
