Delhi Sees Decline in Crimes Against Women but Rise in Other Crimes in 2024

Delhi's 2024 crime data shows a 12% decline in crimes against women over four years, with reductions in molestation, eve-teasing, and dowry deaths, while rape cases remained stable. However, burglary, attempt-to-murder, and arson cases increased notably in 2024. Missing minors cases decreased by about 7%, but adult missing persons reports rose. Police attribute improvements to enhanced policing, awareness, and technology, while challenges persist in other crime categories.
