Pune Police Register Case After Bar Altercation Involving Assault on Officer

In Pune, two intoxicated individuals, Mansi Champlal Pariharya and Yuvraj Nilesh Paratani, were involved in a late-night altercation at a bar in Balewadi on March 3. Following a dispute and police intervention, they were taken to Baner Police Station, where Pariharya allegedly bit a female sub-inspector's hand and threatened suicide, while Paratani threatened police officers. Both have been charged with assault, abuse, and obstructing government work, with an investigation underway.
