In Surendranagar, a man accused in a rioting case, Divyaraj alias Bull Shiva Borana, allegedly attacked a police team with a knife during a crime scene reconstruction. The police sub-inspector then shot Borana in the right leg. Borana, who has multiple previous FIRs, was arrested on December 28 for allegedly attacking a shop owner over grain purchase. He was taken to the crime scene to recover weapons when the alleged attack occurred.
