Two Bangladeshi Nationals Arrested in West Bengal for Murder of Activist Sharif Osman Hadi

West Bengal's Special Task Force arrested two Bangladeshi nationals, Faisal Karim Masud (alias Rahul) and Alamgir Hossain, accused of murdering political activist Sharif Osman Hadi. Hadi, a spokesperson for Inqilab Moncho, was shot in Dhaka on December 12 and died in Singapore on December 18. The suspects reportedly fled Bangladesh after the killing, entered India illegally via Meghalaya, and were apprehended near Bongaon while attempting to return to Bangladesh. They have been remanded to police custody for further investigation.
