Couple Arrested in Vrindavan for Alleged Rs 42 Lakh Immigration Fraud

Police arrested Saurav Gupta and his wife Pragati from Vrindavan in early January for allegedly running an immigration fraud racket, duping victims of up to Rs 42 lakh by promising overseas visas using forged documents. The couple, originally from Patiala, reportedly charged up to Rs 50 lakh per person for destinations including Canada, the US, Australia, and England. A third accused, Sachin Gupta, remains at large. Investigations continue as more victims come forward.
