Dense Fog Causes Multi-Vehicle Pile-Up on Lucknow-Delhi Highway, 12 Injured

Dense fog on Sunday morning caused a multi-vehicle pile-up involving around 10 vehicles near Shahwajpur Dor village on the Lucknow-Delhi National Highway (NH-9) in Uttar Pradesh's Amroha district. The accident injured at least 12 people, who were promptly taken to nearby hospitals. The dense fog reduced visibility to near zero, leading to a chain collision that blocked the highway for several hours. Police used cranes to clear the wreckage, and investigations into the incident are ongoing. Authorities have urged motorists to exercise caution during foggy conditions.
