Over the past six months, authorities arrested 25 individuals, all Punjab residents, for allegedly distributing heroin and opium in Navi Mumbai. Police seized approximately 680 grams of heroin, 182 grams of opium, codeine syrup, mobile phones, and cash totaling Rs 3.31 crore.
