Four Family Members Die from Toxic Gas Inhalation in Bihar Septic Tank Incident

In Bihar's Sitamarhi district, four family members—Rajeev Sahni, Krishna Kumar, Ravindra Sahni, and Vinay Sahni—died after inhaling toxic gases while cleaning their home's septic tank on Tuesday evening. Villagers reported they lost consciousness due to the gases, and despite being rushed to a hospital, all were declared dead. Authorities dismissed claims that the tank was used for illicit liquor production. A similar incident occurred recently in Vaishali district. Investigations and post-mortem examinations are ongoing.
