Authorities Seize Over 370 kg Narcotics in Multiple Indian States, Several Arrests Made
Law enforcement agencies in India seized large quantities of narcotics in separate operations across Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand. The Central Bureau of Narcotics intercepted 115 kg of opium on the Agra-Jaipur Highway, arresting one individual. In Jharkhand's Hazaribag district, police arrested three people and recovered 155 kg of opium. Additionally, over 106 kg of poppy husk was seized in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, with one arrest made. Investigations under the NDPS Act are ongoing to identify wider smuggling networks.
