The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has filed a chargesheet in Ernakulam against members of the "Ketamelon" darknet-based drug trafficking syndicate. The operation, code-named MELON, led to the seizure of LSD blots, ketamine, and crypto assets worth ₹90 lakh. The chargesheet names Edison Babu as the alleged mastermind, along with Arun Thomas, Sandeep Sajeev (UK), and Harikrishnan Aji Nawas (Australia). Investigations are ongoing for a ketamine supplier, and Interpol notices have been issued for the accused abroad. Assets worth over ₹3 crore belonging to Babu have been seized.
