
A 10- to 11-year-old boy died in Mohali's Badh Majra village after a speeding tractor hit the motorcycle he was riding with his father. The tractor driver fled the scene but was later identified and arrested under charges including rash driving and death by negligence. The boy was taken to Phase 6 civil hospital, where he was declared dead. Following the accident, family members and locals protested by blocking National Highway-21 near Phase 6, demanding action against the driver, causing significant traffic disruption.
