Bhopal police conducted a raid on the Irani gang's stronghold, apprehending 34 individuals, including known criminals. However, the gang's kingpin, Raju Irani, evaded arrest, with sources suggesting leaked information from within the police system provided him advance warning. Irani is wanted in nearly 20 serious cases across multiple states for offenses including robbery and organized crime. Separately, a wanted criminal, Ghanshyam Rajput, is reportedly acting as a police informer, also evading arrest despite being sought by Jaipur Police.
