Hyderabad NEET Candidate Caught Using Hidden Phone During Re-Examination
An 18-year-old NEET candidate in Hyderabad was caught cheating during the re-examination by using a mobile phone concealed inside a washroom flush tank at Zilla Parishad High School, Ragannaguda. The student, a resident of Achampet, had placed the phone near the washroom ventilator before the exam and retrieved it during the test to search for answers online. Despite multiple security checks and frisking, the device went undetected until the candidate took a prolonged toilet break, raising suspicion. He confessed to the malpractice and is in police custody, with a case registered under relevant laws.
