90-Year-Old Woman Allegedly Gang-Raped in Madhya Pradesh; SIT Investigates

A 90-year-old woman in Madhya Pradesh's Khandwa district was allegedly gang-raped by four masked men inside her hut on Thursday night. The assailants reportedly tried to kill her by throwing her and her cot into a nearby well but fled after hearing nearby sounds. The injured woman was found by villagers and taken to the district hospital. Police have registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita section 70 and formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate, offering a Rs 10,000 reward for information leading to arrests.
