Panchkula police reported a decline in cybercrime cases from 169 to 156, with arrests nearly doubling to 173 in 2025. Victim refunds for cyber fraud reached Rs 3.21 crore, up from Rs 1.35 crore in 2024. The Cyber Cell also returned 150 mobile phones valued at Rs 22.5 lakh. Cases of molestation and rape decreased, while drug trafficking saw an increase in registered cases and arrests, with significant seizures of various narcotics.
