In Lucknow, an FIR against residents of Swastika City for allegedly demolishing a disputed boundary wall has been withdrawn. This follows the removal of the local SHO and the registration of a new FIR against former MP Dhananjay Singh and others for alleged assault, intimidation, and caste-based abuse. Residents claim the wall was built on a public road, blocking access and leading to confrontations where threats were allegedly made and firearms brandished.
