Couple Arrested for Alleged Knife-Point Robbery on Delhi Bus After False Accusation

On March 5, a couple allegedly robbed a passenger, Ravi Kumar, at knife-point inside a moving bus in outer Delhi's Alipur area after the woman falsely accused him of misbehaviour. The husband brandished a weapon and threatened Kumar, who surrendered his mobile phone, wallet with cash, and identity documents. Police arrested the couple, recovering the stolen items and the knife. The husband, Deepak, has prior robbery cases and was out on bail. Investigation continues to determine if they targeted other commuters.
