
Gurugram Police arrested 34-year-old Mukesh Kumar for impersonating a Haryana Police sub-inspector to evade toll taxes, secure free hotel stays, and project authority. Kumar, a resident of Kasni village in Jhajjar district, was caught after suspicious behavior at a Gurgaon hotel. He admitted to using a fake Special Police Officer ID card bought for Rs 500 and a police uniform stitched for Rs 2,200. Kumar drives a rented e-rickshaw between Jhajjar and Khatu, Rajasthan, where he sought to avoid toll payments by posing as a cop.
