The survivor of the Unnao rape case has petitioned the Delhi High Court to admit additional evidence and documents, including school records to verify her age, in Kuldeep Singh Sengar's ongoing appeal against his 2019 conviction and life sentence. The court has scheduled the plea for hearing on February 25 and directed the survivor's counsel to submit relevant documents by January 31. Sengar's sentence was suspended by the High Court in December 2025 but stayed by the Supreme Court. He is also serving a separate sentence related to the custodial death of the victim's father.
