Two Arrested in Maharashtra for Alleged Rape of Tribal Minor Girls

Maharashtra Police arrested two men, Ganesh Rajebhau Ghatul and Ashok Bhaskar Pawar, for allegedly raping two minor girls, aged 13 and 14, from the Gond tribal community in Beed. The girls, children of migrant laborers from Chhattisgarh, were allegedly attacked on December 24, 2025. Activists report families are facing pressure to withdraw complaints.
