Man Arrested for Kidnapping and Murder of Six-Year-Old Girl in Southeast Delhi

A 23-year-old man, Manoj Lugun, a distant relative and neighbour of a six-year-old girl in Southeast Delhi's Sarai Kale Khan, was arrested for her kidnapping and murder. The girl went missing on February 19, and CCTV footage showed her last seen with Lugun. He confessed to striking her head with a brick near IP Park and disposing of her body in a well. The body was recovered and sent for post-mortem, which will determine the exact cause of death and investigate any sexual assault. The accused has no prior criminal record, and the investigation continues.
