
In the 2024 Worli hit-and-run case, prosecution submitted draft charges against 24-year-old Mihir Shah, former Shiv Sena leader Rajesh Shah, and their driver Rajrishi Bidawat. Mihir is accused of ramming his BMW into a two-wheeler, killing 45-year-old Kaveri Nakhwa and injuring her husband. Charges include culpable homicide not amounting to murder under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and violations of the Motor Vehicles Act. Rajesh Shah and Bidawat are accused of aiding Mihir's escape.
