Customs air intelligence officials apprehended two individuals at Kochi International Airport on Saturday, seizing 4.3 kg of hybrid ganja valued at over Rs 4 crore. The arrested men, identified as Shanavas and Abdul Nazar from Kozhikode, arrived on a flight from Phuket, Thailand. The contraband was found concealed in their baggage. Officials suspect the duo are carriers for an organized drug racket and are investigating to identify recipients. The arrested individuals are undergoing formal procedures.
