
A 46-year-old supervisor with the Security Guard Board for Mumbai and Thane, Nilesh Tukaram Badhe, was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly demanding and accepting bribes from security guards. Badhe reportedly demanded Rs 100 monthly from guards, threatening transfers or job removal if unpaid. A complaint led to a trap where Badhe was caught accepting Rs 1,900. His mobile phone was seized, and a search of his residence was initiated. A case under the Prevention of Corruption Act was registered at Vashi police station.
