The Jharkhand High Court directed the immediate release of advocate Manoj Tandon's car, seized after he was accused of dragging a man on its bonnet on February 17 at Rajendra Chowk. Despite earlier court orders for release, police had not complied, prompting the court to note possible personal vendetta. The state informed the court of a Supreme Court petition challenging the release, seeking a 10-day adjournment, which was denied. The vehicle was later reported released after an accident caused no injuries.
