A lottery vendor, Thankaraj (60), who was critically injured after being hit by a car on Christmas Eve in Kottayam, Kerala, has died from his injuries. The car was allegedly driven by serial actor Siddharth Prabhu. Police stated the actor was under the influence of alcohol and driving at high speed. An altercation reportedly occurred between the actor and locals following the incident. Police took Prabhu into custody and later released him on bail. Charges are expected to be altered following the victim's death.
